HEAD TRAINER
ASHLEY BULLIS MENDEZ
I started my equestrian journey at 10 years old riding dressage and hunter/jumper at a local barn. I very quickly discovered that this was my passion in life and that I wanted to make a lifelong career as a professional. After much consideration, I chose homeschooling to complete my high school education so that I could have time to commit to the sport and started as a working student full-time at the age of 11. I worked for Kelly Vaughn until the age of 16 when I became a junior trainer teaching lessons and training horses myself.

Since then, I have taken lessons and clinics with several different people over the years, including Lurena Bell, a dressage rider who was shortlisted for the Olympics. I competed in dressage through second level on a horse I trained myself, and after starting and running my own program for several years, I took a student and her horses to compete with the best in the nation at US Dressage Finals.
I enjoy working with students of all ages and levels. And I would love to help take you and your horse from Intro to Grand Prix.
